Interests:

Internet start-ups and entrepreneurialism; independent music; technology and the law.

I've always loved technology. I've always loved computers. I began designing websites when I was 13, using just a text editor and learning from the HTML source code of sites I admired. It was a perfect mix of creativity, design, computers, and problem solving, and it's been one of my favorite hobbies since then.

I'm interested in how technology impacts our lives — how we access information, how it expands and limits what we do, and how fast the law is changing because of it.

I love sports. I love baseball and going to Phillies games with my dad. Analyzing statistics and searching for trends have increased my passion for the game, opening up whole new schools of thought I can't wait to explore.

This website:

This website has taken many forms over the past 7 years — college weblog, design portfolio, resume. Today I hope to present a little bit about my professional and personal life while showcasing a smattering of what I love to do: design, application development, music production, and writing. LIVE presents a snapshot of my digital footprints and SANDBOX provides a testing ground for thoughts and projects. Enjoy!

Abbreviated biography:

Born in Towson, Maryland (1985). Raised in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.

I am currently a third year student at the University of Michigan Law School out in beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan. I studied political science at Cornell University, graduating in 2007 with a B.A. in Government and a minor in Information Science. West Chester, Pennsylvania has been my home base since 2002.

Though it's been difficult finding free time these past few years, I still try to play my guitar and banjo as much as possible. I listen to everything by Mike Kinsella (American Football, Owen), Sufjan Stevens, and most of the bands off Polyvinyl Records; read as much from Carver, Salinger, and Apokalips as I can; and will never turn down a whiffle ball game or fantasy baseball invite.

Today in my off time, I study Pitch f/x data and help my brother develop cool new web applications to make life a little easier. Most importantly, I can't wait to tie the knot next June with my beautiful fiancée, Elisabeth.
